EliteRETIREMENT ALLIANCE × Private · prepared for TriStar
The Proposal Engine · prepared for TriStar Pension Consulting

Your proposal, finally caught up to your reputation.

Let's be straight with each other: the proposal we built TriStar years ago has done its job, but it's dated — and you've wanted it updated for a while. This is the rebuild. A connected engine where your proposal, a client intake form, and your service agreement finally work together, branded head-to-toe in TriStar navy and green.

Dynamic fees you control Client intake — new e-Signable agreement — new 100% TriStar brand
Where we started → where you are now

The honest before-and-after.

No spin. Here's what your current proposal couldn't do — and what the new one does. We built the old one, so we'll be the first to say it was overdue.

Your current proposal

Dated, and stuck

  • A fixed, aging format that no longer reflects TriStar's stature
  • Fees hard-coded into the file — every change meant a call to Elite and a wait
  • No client intake form at all
  • No service agreement behind it — handled separately, by hand
  • Three disconnected steps that never talked to each other
Your new engine

Modern, and yours to run

  • Brand-matched with four custom Road-to-Retirement illustrations
  • Fees you change yourself, anytime, in TPA ConfigurationA settings panel built into the proposal. Update your setup, base, and per-participant fees and they flow through every new proposal instantly — no developer, no waiting.
  • A built-in client intake form, pre-filled from the proposal
  • Your five agreement documents, consolidated into one e-signable agreement
  • One connected flow: proposal → intake → signed
How it runs now

Three parts, wired into one engine.

The upgrade isn't three nicer documents — it's that they feed each other. What's captured once at the proposal carries all the way to a signed agreement, so neither you nor your client re-enters anything.

STAGE 01

Proposal

Your branded fee proposal — built in minutes, recordkeeper revenue share included.

STAGE 02

Client intake

The client confirms and completes the details. Proposal values carry straight in.

STAGE 03

Service agreement

Every field merges in. The client signs electronically and downloads the PDF.

The change you asked for most

Your fees are yours again.

The single biggest limitation of the old proposal was that your pricing was baked in. Now it lives in TPA Configuration — you set it, you change it, it updates everywhere. Here's your current schedule, ready to tune together in our meeting.

TriStar standard schedule

Editable in TPA Configuration

Plan Document & Set-Up$1,000
Administration — base (annual)$1,440
Administration — per participant$35
Document Maintenance (annual)$400
Plan Takeover Review$900
// Highlighted lines flow live into every proposal — change them anytime, no rebuild.
Why it matters

No more calls to change a number

COLA increase? New per-participant rate? A one-off for a complex plan? You adjust it in the configuration panel and the next proposal reflects it immediately. The agreement's fee schedule reads the same numbers, so your proposal and your contract can never drift apart.

Built into your pricing

Recordkeeper revenue share, modeled live.

Where TPA proposals get genuinely complex — and where the old one was silent. The engine now models your recordkeeper economics, with each carrier's real caps and floorsCap: a ceiling on the credit no matter how large the plan. Floor: a guaranteed minimum. The engine applies each carrier's exact rules., and lets you choose to retain it or offset it against the client's fees.

John Hancock · worked example

$1.2M assets · $180K first-year deposits

install  0.20% × $1.2M  =  $2,400
install  1.0% × $180K  =  $1,800
ongoing  0.05% × $1.2M  =  $600/yr
year-one credit  =  $4,800

Two ways to use it

Offset or retain — your call, per plan

Offset: credit the revenue share back against the client's admin fees — a transparent, lower net cost, shown right in the multi-year projection.

Retain: keep it as disclosed compensation. Either way, the agreement's disclosure appendix follows automatically.

The two pieces that didn't exist before

A client intake form, and a real agreement behind it.

The old proposal stopped at a price. The new one carries the client all the way to a signed contract — using documents you already gave us.

New · client intake form

Captures exactly what the agreement needs

We read your service agreement and built the intake form backwards from it, so every field has a home. Proposal values arrive pre-filled; your client adds the plan name, the responsible plan fiduciary, and the authorized signer — then proceeds straight to signing.

New · service agreement

Your five documents, consolidated into one

Your master engagement letter and four appendices — fee schedule, John Hancock variable-comp disclosure, scope of services, and standard terms — assembled into a single branded, e-signable agreement. Every client value drops into a merge fieldA placeholder like {{plan_name}} replaced with the client's real value the instant the agreement is generated., and recordkeeper-specific appendices appear only when they apply.

{{company_name}}{{plan_name}}{{fiduciary_name}}{{base_fee}}{{signer_name}}
